BEMLTVS1Pack (BEMLTVS1Pack.zip)

Map Name:   Beggar's Run
Map Author: WonderBall
Game Types: CTF

Installation
------------
Extract the contents of the zip file to the Tribes:Venegeance root directory.
The default directory is C:\Program Files\VUGames\Tribes Vengeance.

Manual Installation
-------------------
<TV_ROOT> is the Tribes:Venegeance root directory.
Extract MP-BeggarsRun.tvm  to <TV_ROOT>/Content/Maps.
Extract MP-BeggarsRun.mopp to <TV_ROOT>/Content/HavokData.

Notes
-----
The map is highly optimized and runs as fast or faster than the retail maps (on
my system at least - your mileage may vary).

The terrain is set to not tile and has been made invisible a little bit outside
the OOB grid. This optimization gained 10%-15% fps.

The heightfield was taken from Tribes 2 and hand-smoothed.

The terrain textures were taken from Tribes 2, and hand-painted on the terrain.

The bases are to the exact scale of the Tribes 2 bases, and were hand-modelled
in TVEd.

The base textures were taken from Tribes 2 and tweaked in Photoshop.

The skybox was created in Terragen.

Acknowledgments
---------------
Thanks to Armored Division (COBRA) for help beta testing the map.

Thanks to Zio for helping with the bottom of the skybox, and making the clouds
less fractal looking.

MP-Corrosion-BETA (MP-Corrosion-BETA.zip)

MP-Corrosion-BETA notes

Alrighty this is yet another map I'v done for T:V, this one I started at about 1:00PM tuseday,
and ended about 11:50PM tuseday June/28/2006 with about two or three hour or more breaks in
there some place.

props to hte people who made World Machine! makes terrain easy took me about half an hour in WM
to complete my terrain after wich I did not touch the terrain in the editor.

Thank you Irritant for your base T:V sketches (I used some tower from Bases-Exterior-05.tvm) but re-textured
it as I saw fit for htis map.

I also stole the cool little tower things from MP-Isle.tvm

I made some textures that are not in the mylevel texture .pkg of this map, but none where used in the
makeing on the bases but the textures shaders and bumpmaps are still in there for anyone who would like
a look.

if you find any problems email me at bb_mrly@hotmail.com

Thanks Dice.

Changes In Version 1.0
- Added updated optimised column meshes thanks to killadee.
- Fixed texture misalignments in the Imperial base and on the main pyramid.
- Fixed a bug where the player spawned with no visible weapons and was invulnerable.
- Changed the textures on the terrain
- Minor terrain tweaks, primarily smoothing out some rough patches.
- Added some more water and trees.
- Added some detail meshes to the terrain.

Hints and Tips

Notes

The map contains a handful of simple custom meshes. Originally the column meshes were made in the editor and as such were unoptimised. But big thanks to killadee at Visual Torment for running them through Max and welding all the vertices!

The new Egyptian textures are by Sock, sock@planetquake.com. I had to adjust their brightness and contrast to fit. They're also lower res than usual Unreal textures, but I think they turned out okay. I didn't end up using all the textures he had included in his texture pack.

Sock's original readme file is duplicated below;

2. Goto the SCRIPTS sub-directory under the BASEQ3
   directory and find the following
   file :- SHADERLIST.TXT.

3. Open this file up in a text editor and add the
   following line at the bottom of the file.

   EGYPTSOC

4. Close the file and open Q3Radiant and you should
   find on the texture menu the 1 new subdirectory.

That's a fantastic first map, Mal. Obviously single-player playtests are different from having two teams, but here are some notes I've made so far.

- Terrain is good, some great points to build up speed but as you mentioned above, not always in the right direction, which makes it very interesting.
- Bases are good, maybe not quite as polished as retail bases (they're still a bit geometric, with nothing breaking up the straight lines), and they would be good to defend against incoming rapists. One thing though is that when you first spawn, you don't know where you are. If I were defending this base against a couple of heavies who had raped my gen, I'd need to get back to the gen as fast as possible, but a couple of times I went through 3 bottom floor rooms until I got to gen. Maybe if the floor of the gen room were a different texture or colour, and maybe the two corridors leading into it. That way, a quick glance in both directions when you spawn would show you the quick way.
- The tunnels are a good idea, except having them filled with water kind of wrecks the effect. If you had to go through water to get in, then it was dry inside (maybe the tunnel rises a little in the middle)...as it is now, it's too hard to build up speed through the tunnels while you're navigating the water.
- All bases assets and deployables are labelled and operate correctly. I was disappointed you didn't leave any crumbs at all for me to pick at.
- In one of the screenshots above, you have what looks like a mesa with a tunnel going down into it, and tunnel exits around the mountain. Is that still in the map? I didn't see it, and forgot about that pic until I started this post.
- I might be wrong about this, but once or twice when I'd built up a lot of speed and was getting some air over the middle section, it felt a bit floaty and out of scale, kind of like Rollercoaster. It might've been my imagine.

All in all, a great first effort, well done. Now where are the vT and uTa HO trains?

Thanks heaps mate , I'll make the changes to the base floors to assist with the direction to the generator room.

But you right mate , it does feel a little floaty when up high ...... I think this is the result of making a fairly hilly map with big areas to span over , something to note when I make more maps.

As you noted , the terrain forces you away from home to a certain extent , wanted to create a map that could be easily " Shar capped " with a couple of well timed disc jumps from flag stand to flag stand.

With this map you certainly need to keep you momentum or be stuck with fighting your way home I think.

The bases are certainly not the most pretty thing out there but the are functional .... there's actually a few errors in the walls and you not noting them tells me I have plugged them all up well enough Smile

Keeping in mind a flag stand off , a flag carrier can easily use the bases for a bit of " run around in circles " evasion , I think having those 2 open windows at the top / front of the base allows a suitable option for a flag return.

If you look at the door ways you can see little glimpses of sunlight poking through the corners ...... once again it's my first go at it.

I hoping the balance of deployables was too your liking , I feel that this was a little heavy on but looking at it again I should be OK.

I did want to have an area in the map where water & chasing was an element , you certainly slow down in the tunnels but when I introduced the catapults ( which does take a bit of aiming for ) these do assist with speed.

I just like the idea if someone shoots down here to escape a chaser that it isn't a huge advantage , the chaser could dart over to the other exit but all in all the act of fighting in the water does force a different feel to aiming and shooting.

I've tweaked the catapults strength up from default ( 125000 to 205000 ) , I checked out Frontline and thought the way those work and how strong they are was a good gauge.

Well thanks again bud , after I make just a few small tweaks I'm happy to finally release my first official completed map .... after being Sil'd I feel it ready for release now.

I'm going to put your noted in my release pkg mate to hopefully explain the direction of this map for anyone that download it

Cheers

Custom Meshes		: Yes
Custom Textures		: No
File Size		: ~57MB (uncompressed)
Build Time		: ~120+ hours
================================================================

*Changes from Beta*
================================================================
- Addition of secondary bases, where players spawn in Light armor.
- Changes to sunlight actor to cut down on glare in some areas.
- Changes to fog color.
- Macrotexture added.
- Slight terrain changes made.
- Addition of zone portals.
- Fixed map image.
- Terrain texture changed to slightly emphasize the low road.
- Geometry altered in some places.
- Other various changes.
================================================================

* Notes *
================================================================
- Any terrain texture errors you find, don't bother reporting. I spent about ten hours solid on trying to get them all, and I will not waste a minute more on them.
- There is also a zone portal error which I caught at the very end of the process. However, it does not harm gameplay, so I didn't screw with it.
- Also, the myLevel package of the map contains two custom meshes: ImpWall (a basic wall), and WindowMesh (a thick glass pane).
================================================================

* Installation & Play Information *
================================================================

================================================================

* About This Map *
================================================================
This is my second map for T:V.

The Blood Eagle and Empire fight for the technology within an old derelict vessel in an arctic wasteland.

This map is huge, over 950 meters from flag to flag. Each team has both a main and secondary base with a mix of assets to help them win the day. One of the unique features of this map is that you spawn at the secondary base in light armor. This allows for chasers and midfielders to quickly take up positions around the wrecked hulk and help stem the heavy onslaught. Each team also has manual turrets at their disposal to fight off air vehicles and other assorted threats.

Vehicles on this map include two rovers, two fighters, and a bomber per team.

Deployable assets include one deployable repairer, three mines, five deployable inventories, and eight turrets per side.

Special thanks to ChickenLover and VersionVier for all their help. :)

Enjoy.

Map: MP - Blindside (Beta)
Author: FugitivePuppeT
Gametypes: CTF, Fuel

Notes: This map is beta, you will notice that it runs poorly since
it hasn't been optimized yet, also you'll notice that there is some
terrain holes near one of the bases (not that obvious really).

I don't know if I'll ever finish this map, so I just wanted to share
what I've done so far with anyone left playing the game.

P.S. ALso, mad probs to Andrew (Irritant) for his maps, and dedication
to the game, you rock my socks. Adios!

Tribes Vengeance Map: Park

Author:      broken_link
Date[Final]: 01.11.05
Size:        21MB
Gametypes:   CTF,Ball,Rabit

Description:
	The basic idea behind this map was to give the players
	a playground environment which utilizes the game physics
	for a unique style of play. The floor of the map is covered
	with a variety of skate type bowls, ramps and tunnels used to
	get huge air and high vertical speeds, while maintaining a degree
	of difficulty to landing big airs properly. The ramps make for
	games which are played mostly in the vertical axis, and blast radius
	shots must be timed to hit players sliding across the ramps.

	The second component of this map are the tubes, which may seem
	complicated, but if you can learn the correct tubes to enter, can
	give you a great advantage in traversing the map. Spread through various
	points throughout the tubes are switchable gates which will direct the player
	down a certain branch of the pipe depending on the gate setting. The gates at
	each end of the map (Pheonix and Bloodeagle Bases) are controlled by a large
	button located above the flag (goal) at the base of the light tower. Jumping
	on this button will flip all the gates at that end of the map, this allows known flag
	routes to be blocked, but opens others at the same time.
	Some knowledge of the pipe routes is essential for a good defense and flag running.

	For a break from normal gameplay, how about seeing how high you can get, measured by
	a scale painted onto the vertical walls and then land without dying.

	Enjoy.

Installation:
	Extract the MP-Park.tvf file to your \TribesVengeance\Content\Maps\ Folder
	Extract the MP-Park.mopp file to your \TribesVengeance\Content\HavokData\ Folder

	The map is now available in game!

SmOkkin' Joe Map Pack
Author: SmOkkin' Joe
This Map Pack includes fixes for Frostbite (CTF), The Gap Version 3 (CTF, Ball),
and Dropzone Wasted(CTF), as well as the newest map Arctic Slope(Arena, Rabbit).

To Install: I said I'd try to make these self extracting but I couldnt get winzip working correctly,
so just highlight the tvms and the mopps separately and use the directories below if you are unsure
where they go.
Tribes Vengeance\Content\Maps for .mopps, and
Tribes Vengeance\Content\Havokdata for HavokData.zip,
you don't need to extract the readme.

as far as the server admins go on them being lazy in extracting the stuff, or those who are too lazy to extract
these maps in this method, for all I care. you can feel free not host these maps on your server, no matter for me.
These are done, if anyone wishes to make improvements please do, Im done with them, just give credit where it is due.

These are my warmup maps in preparation for my work in the Renegades Mod. Thank you for Downloading.

Enjoy the gameplay!

Compmodv50 (compmodv50.zip)

CompMod v .50

Change log will be posted on the forums / and our website soon.

***************
To install:

Put compmod.u and compmod.int in the server /bin

Under all the similar lines in the beta_dedicated_server.ini, add 'serverpackages=compmod'

***************

You can start the server by making a shortcut such as

"D:\Tribes Vengeance Beta Server\Server\Program\Bin\Beta_Dedicated_Server.exe" server MP-Fort?game=GameClasses.ModeCTF?mutator=compmod.compmod

Or you can enter "open MP-Fort?game=GameClasses.ModeCTF?mutator=compmod.compmod" into the server console from a remote desktop.

The only way to do it through web admin is to use byte web, this is how you want it setup if you want to switch easily. However it will require you to redo youre users/map rotations. It is worth it in the long run.

you can get it at http://byte.zenegg.com/releases/ByteWeb132.zip

note: 'servertravel' command lets admins issue commands into the server console from ingame on a client computer.

-all equipment moved to the right side of the screen
-energy blade thing removed
-ammo counts made larger and more visible

AntiTK 1.0 (AntiTK_1.0.rar)

ByteWeb 1.32 (ByteWeb_1.32.rar)

Byte Web 1.32 - This is a replacement for the current Retail WebAdmin.

There are numerous issues which don't allow 100% operation with the current WebAdmin system.

    * Extract the files:
         .u goes in Program\Bin
         .inc/.htm goes in Content\Web\ServerAdmin
         .txt goes in Content\Help (for reference)

    * Find the [UWeb.WebServer] section in your Ini and change the lines to read:

     Applications[0]=ByteWeb.ByteWebAdmin
     ApplicationPaths[0]=/ServerAdmin
     Applications[1]=ByteWeb.ByteImageServer
     ApplicationPaths[1]=/images

That should be all you need to do to get the new WebAdmin in place.
You should notice no real differences except Mutators section doesn't
show a bunch of duplicates and GameType combos don't have a "none" option.

Reserved Slots: Provides Slot Management for Servers to allow certain Players
               a way to get into a Full server when MaxPlayers is hit.
               Also, Includes Ban option now, so can ban by IP and Nickname,
               thru the WebAdmin

Locked Game(Beta): Provides a Method to Password a Game after a Certain number of
                   Players are InGame.

-

Usage for ReservedSlots:

Look for the following Line in your TV_CD_DVD.ini (or your Server's ini)

[Engine.GameInfo]
AccessControlClass=TribesAdmin.AccessControlIni

Change it to say:
AccessControlClass=ByteWeb.ReservedSlots

Then save your Ini and Start the Server.

You can then goto WebAdmin and be able to see the new Options under Default and
also on the Main page, for actual Slot Management.

Usage for LockedGame:

Look for the following Line in your TV_CD_DVD.ini (or your Server's ini)

[Engine.GameInfo]
AccessControlClass=TribesAdmin.AccessControlIni

Change it to say:
AccessControlClass=ByteWeb.LockedGame

Then save your Ini and Start the Server.

You can then goto WebAdmin and be able to see the new Options under Default
for the Lock Password. This hasn't been 100% tested, so if it bugs for anybody
please feel free to let me know

--------------------

Player-NameCleaner v1.0 (Player-NameCleaner_v1.0.zip)

Player-NameCleaner v1.0

####################
# 1. About

Player-NameCleaner removes color tags and admin specified filter strings from the names of all connected players.

####################
# 2. Installation

Copy PlayerNameCleaner.u to \Program\Bin\ folder of your server installation.
Open the server ini, on dedicated servers its typically \Program\Bin\Beta_Dedicated_Server.ini.
Under the [Engine.GameEngine] section add "ServerActors=PlayerNameCleaner.Cleaner" to the
ServerActors list.

You can optionaly add the following section to the end of the ini:

[PlayerNameCleaner.Cleaner]
bStripColorTags=True
filterList=[c]
filterList=[\c]
filterList=[/c]
filterList=[c=
filterList=[u]
filterList=[\u]

If it doesnt exists it will be created on the next server run.

####################
# 3. Configuration

For configuration you can edit the [PlayerNameCleaner.Cleaner] section in the ini.

bStripColorTags defines if color tags ( i.e. [C=FFFFFF]...[\C] ) should be removed.

filterList is a list of strings that the mutator additionally strips out of player names.
bStripColorTags is not affected by this list, even so you find parts of color tags in there.
Thats because the color removal only works with valid color tags, so if someone's name
contains "[c]" (that makes the name's display white), this part is eliminated by the
filterList.
For wildcards use "*". Example: If you want to remove everything of the name in brackets,
add "filterList=(*)".

ServerLogoTVa (ServerLogoTVa.zip)

ServerLogoTV 1.1
=============
by Byte (byte@tsncentral.com)
Homepage: http://byte.zenegg.com

note: ServerLogoTVa.u will automatically download to servers on connection, if not manually installed.

Changes in 1.1
-----------
Changing filename to keep any clientside mismatches to a minimum.
Revised Positioning Code for Logo to allow finer control (see Config Values)
Added a message for each client - that your server is running ServerLogoTV

Note: With filename change, you will need to change the Header name in your Ini to reflect
the new Filename - [ServerLogoTV.mutLogoserver] = [ServerLogoTVa.mutLogoServer]

Description
-----------
ServerLogoTV displays a logo when a player connects.

Installation
------------
Extract ServerLogoTVa.u to your Program\Bin folder
(eg. C:\Program Files\VUGames\Tribes Vengeance\Program\Bin)

//-------------------------------
You will need to add the following lines to the [Engine.GameEngine] section of your Server ini:

After the last ServerActors reference add:
ServerActors=ServerLogoTVa.mutLogoServer

At the bottom of the ServerPackages references, add:
ServerPackages=ServerLogoTVa

You need to add the packages containing the logo texture to the ServerPackages (under the above line):

example - ServerPackages=YourLogoPackage

Your Texture package should be something uniquely named which might not always be possible,
but at worst, at a number or so, to basically "seperate" it from any potential conflicts.

The Config Values
-----------------
In the [ServerLogoTVa.mutLogoServer] section of your server's INI file you can find
the following configurable variables - after initial run...

Logo
The logo texture. Make sure that the package this texture is in is in the
ServerPackages.

LogoColor
The color used for drawing the logo texture. The alpha component of this color
can fade in and out with the FadeInAlphaTransition and FadeOutAlphaTransition
variables described further down in this section.

LogoX
The relative location on the screen where the logo will display
(1.0 = Bottom Right of Screen)

LogoY
The relative location on the screen where the logo will display
(1.0 = Bottom of Screen)

// NEW!

LogoOffsetX
A relative(to LogoX) location on the screen where logo will display

LogoOffsetY
A relative(to LogoY) location on the screen where logo will display

Example:
Your logo is 256x128 and you would like it fullsize in the middle of the screen.
LogoX and LogoY would be 0.5
LogoOffsetX would be -128
LogoOffsetY would be -64
LogoScale would be 1

If you scaled it by Half, then you would drop those numbers by that much as well.

//

LogoScale
This is a relative value for Scaling to be applied to the Logo Material.
(1.0 = Full Size)

FadeInDuration
How long it takes to fade in the logo.

DisplayDuration
How long the logo will be displayed after fading in.

FadeOutDuration
How long it takes to fade out the logo.

InitialDelay
How long to wait before starting to fade in the logo.

FadeInAlphaTransition
FadeOutAlphaTransition
How the logo's transparency changes when fading in/out.
FT_None means always full opacity.

//---------------------------------------------------------

Example Ini entry - Default:

[ServerLogoTVa.mutLogoServer]
Logo=GUITribes.PoweredByGamespy
LogoColor=(B=255,G=255,R=255,A=255)
LogoX=0.500000
LogoY=0.500000
LogoOffsetX=-256
LogoOffsetY=256
LogoScale=0.500000
FadeInDuration=3.000000
DisplayDuration=5.000000
FadeOutDuration=1.500000
InitialDelay=8.000000
FadeInAlphaTransition=FT_ReverseSquareSmooth
FadeOutAlphaTransition=FT_SquareSmooth

This is the default - If you place this at bottom of your Server's ini and make
changes - it will pull those changes in.

What are the available transitions?
-----------------------------------
All transition settings take the values FT_None, FT_Linear, FT_Square, FT_Sqrt,
FT_ReverseSquare, FT_ReverseSqrt, FT_Sin, FT_Smooth, FT_SquareSmooth,
FT_SqrtSmooth, FT_ReverseSquareSmooth, FT_ReverseSqrtSmooth and FT_SinSmooth.

How to create custom server logos
---------------------------------
First of all, create your logo image. You can either use 8 bit (256 colors)
with BMP or PCX or 32 or 24 bit (truecolor with or without alpha channel) with
TGA or DDS as the file format. Please make sure no MipMaps are saved with your
texture - In TVEd, if it says more than 1 mips, then you need to resave the DDS
without MipMaps or uncheck the Generate MipMaps option in TVEd

The image size must be powers of 2, i.e. 2, 4, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 or
1024. The image doesn't have to be quadratic, so sizes like 128x512 are allowed
as well. When saving your logo image, make sure neither its file name nor the path
you save it in contains any space chars, otherwise you won't be able to import it
from that location. Now import the logo image as a texture in TVEd and make
sure you specify a new package name.

You should save your Package into Content\Art...
(eg. C:\Program Files\VUGames\Tribes Vengeance\Content\Art)

DO NOT MODIFY ANY EXISTING PACKAGES!

Especially since you don't have to worry about the ServerLogoTV code, that's what
the configuration options are there for. The new logo's name for the ServerLogoTV
configuration is in the form PackageName.GroupName.TextureName, where PackageName,
GroupName and TextureName are the names you specified in the import dialog box.

note: PackageName will be the Filename in the end...

You can test this Clientside by having the .u file in Program\Bin, and setting up
your ini, etc.. and going in game (w/ console) and typing "open MP-Cavern" (without quotes)
and then "Summon ServerLogoTVa.mutLogoServer"... which will spawn the code and should show
your logo.

  6.1 #[ Qstat and other UT query scripts ]#

  I found out that the usage of Qstat and any other UnrealTournament query scripts
  is false but works (god knows how long). The communication protocol changed in T:V
  and i guess vivendi left some code bits	behind from the UT engine.

  Basicly you have to send a "code" to the gameserver to get a response with all the
  information. In UT 03 this hexcode goes like this: "\0x79\0x00\0x00\0x00". So some
  smart guys out there thought "hey its based	on the ut engine lets try it", and
  sadly it works.

  6.2 #[ Why is the UT 03 code working then if its wrong? ]#
  The reason is, you just need to send a backslash ("\") to a T:V gameserver to get
  a response (thats the codefragment i guess vivendi left behind). The Server will
  allways send you the serverinformation BUT it will answer in the UT	way, if you
  query him with a backslash, which is a bit different to the T:V way (the
  information structure changed).	And because hex code signes are splitted with
  backslashes this code works, T:V ignors every other sign in the	query code. You
  could even send "\OMG T:V is so teh 1337 and it will give me all i need" and would
  still get a response.

  6.3 #[ Who cares its not hurting anyone!? ]#
  True, but you could eat your butterbread up side down but is that the right way? :)
  And why doing it the wrong way, if there is a right way. AND who knows how long
  that will work? Anyway you dont get all information which are available that way.

  6.4 #[ Why i am so sure the usage is wrong? ]#
  Because i sniffed the T:V client-communication protocol and the hexcombination
  "\0x79\0x00\0x00\0x00" is total bs.	It does not appear anywhere in the Packets. If
  you are interested how to do it the right way and to find out how to avoid the
  backslash problem with the real T:V hexcode, check the PHP class. I am to lazy to
  explain that here :)

	+---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

  Btw. dont forget to check http://www.tribes-3.de from time to time to see if there
  is a new version available.

Tribesv beta devkit (tribesv_beta_devkit.rar)

Tribesv worldmachines (tribesv_worldmachines.zip)

TVmachines.zip
Irrational Games
15 September 2004

WHAT IS THIS?
This archive contains various World Machine data files used in the creation of some (but not all) Tribes: Vengeance maps. These are not supported in any way. They're offered simply as examples of what you can do using World Machine. These are intended for advanced mapmakers only.

WORLD MACHINE DETAILS
They were created using the registered version of World Machine 0.99. They use features that don't exist in the current free demo version of World Machine. You can purchase World Machine for $25 and get more information about it at http://www.world-machine.com/

HOW WORLD MACHINE WAS USED
World Machine was used to create many of the heightfields, alpha layers, and macro textures in Tribes: Vengeance. Basic users can open a "machine," press the randomize button, and create new maps in the style of existing maps. Advanced users can reference these files to learn and copy special techniques including the very useful ability to procedurally texture and decorate your heightfields based on slope, elevation and arbitrary masks (such as roads and rivers).

LEARNING
World Machine is challenging to learn but extremely powerful. The best way to learn is to play with it like it's a toy. There are also some tutorials on the web.

LIMITATIONS
Most of the machines included in this archive will not work without some tweaking. They may reference files and directories that are not included. Most of the machines also contain partially implemented user-defined Macros whose parameters, inputs and outputs don't always work. In summary, these machines are provided as-is and are not polished.

Smokeless (smokeless.zip)

In theory these are suppose to help with FPS, however I havent really done any benchmarking.Either way the spin and mortar explosions just look better without the smoke IMO.Most of the credit goes to BoDean, I just took the time to release it.

To Install place smokeless.pkg in \Content\Classes and edit the following lines in \Content\System\VisualEffects.ini

Replace
EffectClass=class'FX.FX_Mortar_Explode'
with
EffectClass=class'smokeless.FX_Mortar_Explode'

replace
EffectClass=class'FX.FX_Spin_Explode'
with
EffectClass=class'smokeless.FX_Spin_Explode'

under [GrenadeProjectileExpodle] & [HnadGrenadeProjectile_Hit]
replace
EffectClass=class'FX.FX_Grenade_Explode'

replace
EffectClass=class'FX.FX_Tank_Explode'
with
EffectClass=class'smokeless.FX_Tank_Explode'

replace
EffectClass=class'FX.FX_bomb_explode'

Description - A new QuickChat Sound Pack with over 300 new voice chats from the Single Player missions and the many unbound chat sounds. Includes Flag commands, Announcer, Glorax, Death and Various SP voices such as Mercury. Each character has their own unique "X" Menu with many added voices from the single player game, including panic and new taunts.

The QuickChat was made using the default QuickChatMenu.ini as the template so there's no re-learning, just extra menus now under the F, R, T, G, V and X keys. The only voice chat that has been moved is the fairly useless VX "Our Base needs Repairs" which is now VWR (TEAM~)

The Glorax Menu is one that can be edited to put in your own quotes. Currently they are Oceania community in-jokes and have clan references. Just open up your QuickChatMenu.ini
and browse down to [QuickChatMenu13] and edit the quotes. The same goes for the Crowd Chant bind, find [QuickChatMenu12_1_12_12_5] and put your clans name in.

Installation

1. Run QC-X.exe to extract the new sounds
2. Browse to \VUGames\Tribes Vengeance\Content\System\ and open your TribesHud.ini. Find the relevant headings and replace all with the text below:

Enjoy.

Thanks to Parachutec for his FullQuickChatMenus which was used for some of the unbound sounds.
